The original bumpers foam backing was coming off so i thought while the car was jacked up id see how bad it is but when i un screwed the screws it just fell off with one bolt still attached lol

if ya still got that bumper i gave ya rattle can it n make use of that sly intake honestly it works well i jus dint want a green bumper lyin bout
although you will need to drill thruogh the slam panel aswel
dont worry bout that bolt on it either it will stay in place
it sat sweet on my other one
i dint even know till i took it off

Whatever happens im sure we xan work sumat out even if it neans over to yours, my box should last as is lasted over 6 months so far lol. Have you found a garage to fit your box yet?

i got a quote for 150 but tht was at a big firm. theres a small garage nearby by that are amazin so im gonna see how much they want before i make a decision. they only charge 20 quid n hr so should be round the 80 mark i hope lol

Im same at 150, i will try and get him to knock vat off and see what it is.

so on wednesday i got some new tyres and thought while the car is jacked up i might aswell see how bad my front bumper is as its been abit loose for ages now and i started to unscrew the parts on the arches this happened :



the foam backing had come away and when the only parts holding it on had been undone it just fell off leaving the drivers side bolt still attached (which i had to saw off because the nut was so corroded it wouldnt undo) so i had to put a spare bumper on and now i have a blue bumper :


appently its all the rage having a different coloured bumper, so i suggest you all give it ago notice i kept the aubergine surrounds . . . . . i call it semi rat look

bad news about bumper when is your xr2i bonnet going on ?

I will do seen, i bought some more paint the other day so i will get cracking

how many cans have you used so far?? I think im going to go out and buy half a litre of paint and a gun for my compressor as im finding rattlers dont cover enough for big items
