Oh and yes Mole, I've tried camskill, blackcircles, etyres, mytyres etc and all around 60/70 per tyre!

Yeah my mate just did his white, had he had more than 2 hours to do it they would have come out alot better, but he just sanded with heavy grit, leveller, primer, white, and laquer done. about 2-3 coats per, without much gap between, but they actually came out alright considering, there white at least. easy to make them come out well if you spend the time on doing it.

They look really good! Glad you didn't go with black ;)

they look spot on ry, much better than my matt black effort on my 3dr wheels :lolz:

i feel your pain on the price of tyres! its also about £70 a corner for the cossie :look:

Well the biggest pain was stripping the paint off the wheels! luckily there were in perfect condition so didn't need much of a sand.

primer them twice in 15 minutes. then another 15 minutes and spray them the colour you need.

Then the next day, spray them with laquer and wait another 24 hours.

Easy peesy. If I was going the whoel hog I would of coated them in primer more, and sprayed them, then after 24 hours, lightly sanded and laquered and repeat until smooth. As these were going to be a quick run before i refurb my own alloys that are on the car properly :rolleyes: :lol:

Thankfully my gearbox is smooth as pie! Reminds me of a single bolt action rifle (I'm sure a review about the car said the same thing to) - very nice after owning ford and french gearboxes for a long time...
