Tinted rear lights. (except reflector) looks awesome from 1 foot + but when you look up close the usual crap

And washed. With clay bar and wax etc. Came out pretty good for my first proper wash. Needs a machin to get out those scratches!

Pics of the wash and rear lights. This is my first proper wash with a clay bar and wax, did I do any good? Its not the best, but I thought it was alright. The iPhone dosen't really do the pictures justice, and yes, my friend sprayed his wheels white within like 3 hours.. Came out pretty well from a distance.. Lol

I threw my cage out for my CD player, it got scrapped with the 106 so i'm looking for one of those as my ISO leads and my fascia plate turned up.

Also got some chrome indicator bulbs so my headlights will be getting de tangoed shortly. think thats about it for "modifications" this month at least.
Running out of money and going through petrol alot.. Drinks a little bit So budgetting for my birthday, southern meet and modified madness now

it's really nice. Only thing is up close it's got scratches from where I had to sand it down and the usual impatience imperfections.. But I've no idea how to get rid of them. And from a foot+ they look great thanks for that Link I'll use it if this last shop I visit in a minuite fails

It's good. Really nice car. Pulls well and is pretty quick , as I'm only
19 it's plenty. Makes me wonder just how quick these 2-3l turbos are! Gotta be madness.
I'm liking all the electronics and gizmos. It's a nice drive, comfy, good looking. Pretty much all I wanted! Should be pretty reliable as well which is good I can do little bits and bobs to it one day but it's so nice standard I'll enjoy it like that for now! Do really wanna lower it though

Only problem is I've ran out of money now -.- in the way that I can't afford any petrol until next day day... So I dunno if I'll be at the southern meet and cant afford a modified madness ticket. Although there are alot more of you at ford fair... And I'll definately be there.
Gonna have to hold off on anything over the summer to enjoy myself. Then spend on getting the car sorted lol

Every four weeks! Which in a way is hood. Yet I still can't budget. I just find myself buying litle things. Iso leads. Bulbs. Petrol has cost alot more then I expected. £100 in a week and a half.. Still got near full tank but jeeeeez I've driven alot. Had to service and cambelt. Pay my gdad for it. Kinda hard when £600 goes straight away -.- !!

Hmmm. i'm thinking of sort of colour coding bits and bobs here and there, like drums and brake pads, possibly cam cover, wanna get strut braces and just random bits and bobs like that. Any ideas on a colour?
I'm thinking a blue, as i'm gonna redo the steering wheel to bring the colour back as its growing on me now and its really worn. So that way the interior is the same as the exterior extras if you get me. ( No I won't paint the alloys bright blue! )

OK so Took me half hour or so but I did it and it looks aweesome So much better.
Unsure whether to keep the headlight protectors on or off? Thoughts? Also how much do they sell for I know alot on a mk3, but what about a mk5. lol





Also I looked and saw this.. Is this the slam panel? (Wild educated guess..) Looks broken to me.. I think as the bonnet is slightly out on one side (as can be seen in my first pics on page 1) Its been in a front ender. but is this bad??

I would guess it has been front ended at some point. Shame you didn't spot it before buying.

I would check out the whole front end, I guess there is no sign of a write off on the log book?

I would probably get he panel replaced as it is quite clearly weakened.
