So like, just in the last half hour tested 0 - 60, knowing that it wasn't that great anyway.

So, yeah, it sucked even more than i thought.

First was 12. something.
Second was 15.3
Third was 15.4

Only had me and the GF in the car. ( GF is light )

My god damn 1.4 used to do it just under 11! with 3 people and full stereo equipment!

My induction came lose the other day, and i noticed it was ALOT more pokier and responsive. But after puttin it back on properly it's given me nothing but slow ass acceleration.
I'm gettin chased down with Punto's!

It's got some cheap ass cone thing on..
I'll take a picture tomorrow if anyone can help on this slightly.
The car sounds like it doesn't like the filter, cause it's gasping for air when i put my foot down, without the cone, it's flying! But i can't not have it on.

its probably restricting it cus its cheap pish, try and get a k&n cone or even a panel filter for better results!!

K&N do a cone for the si mate got one on my car and it does feel a little more responsive. Although it's obviously not going to give a fantastic result I'd say it's worth it. I know there were a few for sale on here quite cheap so keep your eyes peeled for a good bargain

Can anyone give me a part number?

The filter i have on, has a breather pipe coming straight out the side of the cone into the top of the engine. This is normal on the 1.6?

i got my K&N filter off big g1985 on here for £30 with banana pipe and cold air feed and it was worth every penny. go ask him if hes got any?

And yeah, the breather pipe is normal

I would recommend a Panel K&N over the Cone, ive tried both and i recon the Panel filter is better, also doesnt get heat soak.

Both would be an improvement, Personal choice tbh but i do prefer the Panel one with the Origional airbox, got mine of ebay i think for about £15-£20

Clean the MAF sensor That should sort it out. Ive got a K&N induction kit on my Si, and it does make a very slight difference in acceleration ect. Worth the £30 i payed for it brand new of ebay

Its like, when my air tempture sensor thing wasn't on, it was a rocket! it moved so much quicker.
but now it's on, its laggin again.

it's horrible.

Clean my MAF an hour ago, didn't really change anything..

Found out, my induction kit is shoving fluff into my engine................
where does the fluff end up? blocking something? or what?

Car still lags acceleration then finally boots at like 5500 revs.. which is pointless cause it's almost done reving then. and sounds like wank!
Shouldn't it be more like 4k revs?

i'd still say its your maf, try sourcing another one as your might be completely dead

Yeah.
When i got the fez 2 months ago, the pick up in any gear was great.

It's just lacking it now.
I can't even get the ISCV off because some nutter has rounded the screws that's holding it on....
so pass on how that's coming off.
