Already started the modifying on my new daily salllooooooooonnnnnnnn
Here is a quick run through of what i got up to on saturday with it
Here is the brand spank new FMIC i bought for it
so went about stripping the audi front end to fit it:
Then bumper off
started removing cowlings on the standard intercooler, then removed standard intercooler and all standard boost pipes
Then measured up where i want the intercooler to sit so it was behind the lower grills in the bumper, i then needed to find a way to mount the FMIC, so after going to the shed and looking for strips of metal the right length to make brackets I came across two old wiper regulators with the short linkages the perfect length with holes already on either side. i just needed to twist the metal 90' in the middle so fitted the bolt holes and vola they work perfectly
one wiper reg was clio and the other mk4 escort
Then test fit the bumper
realised it needed a bit of trimming to fit correctly so here is before
and after, i also needed to trim a little plastic from around the inside of the grills so the pipes would fit
then turbo to intercooler pipe
then the monster sized throttle to intercooler pipe fitted
clamped everything up and bolted it all back together
Then grills fitted again after a bit more trimming and now shes looking fairly discreet again!
next job have the front bumper repainted as the stone chips are getting bad
you will notice to all the alloy fillings from grinding on the bumper to, they wiped straight off

oo yea at the end of the month all connection pipes will be changed for new ones, any opinions on colour as you can see half are black and the other half are red at the moment
