Well, todays a sad day as the si has come to the end of the road till the middle of next april. I was going to take her off the road at the end of October but for the sake of 4 weeks, its not worth the worry of taking her back to uni and chance her being keyed like the zetec s was or anything else happening to her. I go back to uni on monday so today she has had the biggest clean ever and is now tucked away in the garage till next year. She has been washed, waxed, fully hosed off and cleaned underneath, the whole engine bay cleaned and the whole interior cleaned. There's not a spec of dirt in sight now!

Im feeling really down now tho as for the next 7 months I will be driving around in my 1.1 mk3 runabout and to say its slow is an understatement! Last year it was ok as I had the zetec s for the winter but now thats sold im back to the 1.1. It was worth selling the zs to get the rst tho!

Its just gutting having spent so much time and money on cars and end up driving round in a 1.1 5 door. :doh:

Any support to cheer me up welcome! :cry:

I drive a MK5 diesel fiesta shitter as a daily now.

Dailys are for abuse, scratches, dents, trees... who cares :lolz:

Just keep it in your mind that you have 2 other nice cars to use when its worth the hassle of taking them out! (eg. summertime) the feeling of summertime b roads is awesome

Lovely si. I realllly do wish I had the luxury of a garage and experience to spray up the arches etc. Would make finding a new si so much easier. You don't realise how bad the rust is until you look at it like you do!
