cool what was it like? i heard somewhere that it makes a bit more torque and it uses a little less fuel which i thought was odd..

Don't think it made any difference performance wise but it made a nicer noise

I assume you already know this, but only drill the outside of the box, and take it off first of course.

random update,

for some really weird reason the engine suddenly seems to have quietened which is nice but i now have a new noise. the noise of grinding brake discs

so it looks like i will be busy again this weekend

another pictureless update i really need to find a camera.

anyways the discs came in yesterday at halfords and they were the right parts which was a shock for me but oh well. so now it has some new pads and discs and it's almost impossable to explain the difference it makes from my old worn pads.

i will try to get some pictures up of the old set as it's one of things you have to see to believe how bad they were.

i havn't updated this in ages, basicly cos i havn't done anything much to update it with other than fit a new exhaust cos it fell off on the way back from shell island

anyways thanks to the northern meet i now have my first modding bits xr2i front and rear bumpers

tell you something they are a right pain to get hold of, and will be an even bigger pain to wire in on yours as you dont have the foglight loom, dont get me wrong it can be done, but a quicker solution either mesh it or stick plate in one like mine and cold air feed other side

would probs just wire them so that they come on with main beam via a relay. failing that my uncle is good with electrics

if you look on fiesta guides it goes into great detail how to do it, as for wiring into main beam its an mot failure im afraid, only the driving spot may come on with the main beam anything else is a failure. like i said for what its worth mesh em

i just dont want 2 big empty holes. is your plate legal there?
