My hubs are fucked and I need to upgrade my brakes anyway....

Is it worth getting the RS2000 setup, messing about with this Zetec-S stuff, or staying standard?

To be honest.

I would just sort the drums out... Upgrade your front brakes. The rear drums are good enough for road use.

unless you can get everything you need to do discs.

Ah right cool, I've gotta upgrade suspension and sort the hubs out so didn't know if it was worth doing or not while I had it all apart....saves me some work so I'm happy...

anything is possible guys its all about setting your mind and skills to it. with the right brackets and hubs you can fit just about any setup to the rear. but a good balance IS essential else it will just pirouete down the road when you have to pull up in a hurry.

Sorry to hijack it a bit.....

I managed to source the RS2000 front and rear setup for a good price....so will hopefully be going ahead with it....now what's this business with the flexis, do I need to get some sort of custom ones, or will I need RS2000 ones or something? Planning on going for braided hoses anyway......

Will be doing both, as far as I know the Si front ones fit the RS2k calipers but the rear ones are different?

rears are drastically different. youll have to have them made to measure. run the flexi under the beam and P clip it to that.( i think it has to be secured every 30cm for MOT regs..im pretty sure it has to) then upto the brake pipe..with enough slack to allow it to move without wrecking anything.

the fiesta centre ones will be too long as they use sierra calipers mounted in a different position
