We are trying to buy a house so need all the cash we can get our hands on. I am also getting a company car (BMW 1 series!) on monday so there is little point in keeping this car.
I'm after £1,500 but will listen to offers.
Its a 2001/2002, 2.0 turbo diesel hatchback in silver.
Ford alloy wheels.
Has all the usual A/C, abs ect.
Will do 135mph+ and is a comfy ride at 'motorway speeds'.
Its a big car with a huge boot.
I bought it two years ago with around 85k on the clock, it now has about 144k. In the time I have owned it ive replaced rear bushes, some bushes on the front, rear wheel caliper and water pump. It very recently had a new front spring, new battery and new alternator.
MOT till June/ July. Tax is May/ June.
Bad bits on car;
Cigaret burn in seat from previouse owner
Electric height adjustable seat is stuck. You can hear motor going but no movment, probibly an easy fix.
Two small cracks in lower part of rear bumper, about 2-3 inches long where my gf backed into a hedge when doing a 3 point turn.
Needs a new track rod or something like that on the front as it bangs abit on bumpy roads (£20 part).
Replaced rear wheel caliper is sticking a little again. Checking if this is covered under warranty.
Needs new front disks/ pads.
Rear wheel bearing is starting to squeek.
Drivers air bag warning light is on.
I've though of everything I can. Any questions just ask or PM me. Bad bits may put people off, it would probibly cost £400-£500 for a garage to fix most the above items.
