well i think they guy off jason was a complete arsehole and ragged it to death as he was asking were to get replacement bits and a full kit so it wouldnt surprise me if it got involved in a bump, i would love to see someone to return it to its former glory if its in a state

Well guys, its nothing like the latest photos that jason put on here!! Ill take some photos on the weekend and you will see what i mean... i front wings have been aerosoled (badly), theres overspray everywhere lol, and someone made an exhaust for it without a flexi-joint so the exhaust moves with the engine, and has split the down pipe...

Im having a stainless system made by powerflow on friday...

The engine itself seems to be very good, and runs very well, and so does the gearbox.

Not sure how it left you, but it has coilovers on the front, and stiffness adjustable shockers on the back...

I cant believe he took the kit off, im on the lookout for another one...

It still has the 13" capri pepperpots, these are drying in the paint oven as we speek lol, had em re-done in bright white.

I also invested in some 15" escort gti alloys, and had them painted bright white too, with a set of toyo proxie T1R's :devil:

I have also ordered a set of new toyo R888's for the capri wheels! My bank balance is dropping quickly! haha

When the weather gets a bit better in a few weeks, the engine is coming out, and she's having 2 new wings and Front panel fitted, then having a full respray in Ford Frozen White.

Im gunna give the engine a full on service, and make it lookin all sexy again, not sure what colours yet tho...

Il get some photos up soon, but it wont be looking like this for long!!

I bought the car with no MOT, which was risky, but i took it for MOT, and it failed on a sidelight bulb!!

And yea the fiesta si stickers are still in the window!!

The passenger Recaro was collapsed, so i replaced the with a pair of black recaros from a 90 spec Fiesta RST..

Thats all ive done since ive had it so far, only had it 2 weeks...

It will be at ford fair if you wanted to see it again...

Oh yeah, i was thinking of upgrading the brakes next, what do you guys recomend? are they just mk2 xr2 brakes on it at the moment? They are the ones in the photo's on here!

im not to sure what bolts straight on to mk2s, but i know jason put those on coz he was running 13s.

i had mondeo st24 v6 283mm brakes on my si, which were immense but a bit dodgy for locking up, and would be overkill on something that light!

the si im breaking has 260mm escort rs2000 brakes, which im selling. they might work well on a mk2. need at least 14s thou.

Would RS2000 brakes go straight on then? An ive got 15's on there at the moment... I may keep the pepperpots for sumthin else... Mk2 escort project? hmmm...

And when i do come round to taking the engine out, is it pretty straight forward?? havnt had a good proper look really... i can use a crane if thats what you used jase?

Dude im so happy to see she has gone to a good home! Sounds like you have got brilliant plans for her and i cant wait to see her back up and running! I saw the pictures of her on Piston heads not long ago, i honestly felt like crying.lol Very attached to this car.lol

She was once solid so i would have been very surprised if she failed on rust in such a short period!

Dude your best bet is to drop the engine out of the bottom so much easier. Remove the tie bars from the front, pop drive shafts out, drop rear mount and linkage then main engine mount (two bolts holding it in one on top and one in the drivers arch) then on the floor :thumbsup:

I regretted selling this car when as soon I was driving down to deliver it!!!

Get a project thread going fella i cant wait to see it

I really wanted to get sum pic up this weekend but the exhaust company needs the car till tuesday. " branches on the manifold were split, an needed welding, an they need to make a special flange foor the downpipe...

I need to upgrade the brakes, did you say they were just mk2 xr2 brakes that were on there when you had it jase?
