cool, i think when the time comes i may go for ERST gear box for the lsd but its all down to money and when i can get some help with the conversion lol.

thats a good output for standard ECU and 1800 throttle body i fitted individual throttle bodies to get 150bhp

yeah too right it would, my mate had one RR'd at 140bhp and that thing shifted but i didnt have my 2.0 at the time to try it lol.

did race a saxo vts the other day tho, and even tho he beat me there wasnt much in it so a good spec c2 would be a good race i think.

got to agreed vts/gtis are pretty quick and weigh sod all!!
but on that one my 2.0 si eats alot of them round here...one lad owns a shop and works mainly on french cars,he owns a citroen ax running 170bhp and says he wont try me ever again :halo: :chill: :P :thumbsup:

It makes me wonder how many of these VTS's that get eaten by 2.0 fiesta's at actually VTS's, dare I say there is several Saxos which share the looks, and how many Chavs would stick VTS badges on.

Even if you get the full 136bhp out of the 2.0 and the Saxo is running 120bhp you still wouldn't muller it, yes you might be quicker but it would only be marginal.

I can confirm that Matt's 2.0 was running perfectly we we did the comparison, I was in the Saxo in front and the gave it everything and he did the same and the gap just didn't change.

All I am pointing out is that if you have a 2.0 fiesta, as great as they are they aren't the greatest.

The VTS will not run out of revs before a 2.0L, peak power of 2.0L 5500rpm, TU5JP engine as found in the VTS/GTi full power is around 6800rpm?!?!? Have you ever been in a VTS/GTi? Im guessing not.

Are people getting confused with VTR's are something, as there slow as shit and look exactly the same as the VTS?

TU5JP engine responds alot better to breathing mods too, most see 130-135bhp from just filter and exhaust.

i think there are alot of vtr's with vts badges on. I dont think anyone on here should slag the vts off on here until you have drove one, my mates did brake down alot but when it was in working order it was mental for what so i doubt the 2.0 fiesta will be easily beating it but as said an even match, i havent experienced a 2.0 fiesta yet but looking at the facts you can come up with an answer. Anyway why all the arguing, we all love cars dont we? lol, Will has your question been answered hahaha

this arguement has been had 10 times already. theres no way a 2.0ltr will piss all over a vts ...they either didn't try or is isn't a Vts.

Sorry I didn't mean to start an argument, I mentioned the fact a 2.0 fiesta is even with a VTS/GTI for reference of how quick a 2.0 should be as that maybe useful for people. Basically if you have experienced a VTS/GTI you will know what to expect from a 2.0.

Unfortunately a more recent addition to our forum decided to tell me my 4 years of driving the 2 cars and a direct comparison of a 131bhp 2.0 and a VTS where all lies.

It does seem people in the know do agree with me which is nice.
