I have seen a fair bit written about fitting a 2 ltr Focus Inlet and TB on a 2ltr Si but it is all fairly old and nothing appears to have come of anything.

Has anyone managed to get one fitted and working properly as I am thinking about fitting one instead of an RS1800 one for a number of reasons.

The RS1800 HO manifolds are hard to get hold of and generally cost the earth whereas I can get a focus manifold for about £40 complete with TB etc.
I know the RS1800 is the highest flowing option as far as standard fiesta manifolds go but surely a 2ltr Focus unit is going to be higher flowing still?
I understand that the ISCV and Throttle position sensors have to be modified from the fiesta ones so the voltages match and dont confuse the ECU. Any idea how?

Im going to have a go at getting one to work so any advise and insights any one has to get me started will be greatly appreciated.

You need to modify the fiesta throttle position sensor to fit, and the iscv needs to be from a silvertop mondeo, or an escort with plastic manifold, then you need to get throttle cable to fit.

I dont think theres much gain from them to be honest and in experience i find that the plastic manifolds tends to catch and hold oil at the lowest part.

Only thing that would make me want to fit one is that top feed injectors go straight on. Allthough you can modify the HO manifold too fit top feed injectors.

I have the 1600 EFI manifold with mondeo 2ltr TB.

How much difference will putting an RS1800 inlet actually make?

A noticable amount of tourque. I don't know about rolling roads but you can certainly feel it.
