same here, they don't actually work when moving and in most cases the drink is too tall aswell.

got a bit of a flatspotting problem now....

plugged the computer into it and it brings up a lambda sensor fault.

so thats gona have to be changed now.

£99 quid 4 a sensor thou... but i can get 1 from eurocarparts 4 £57 luckily enough. so that will be done monday now.

I took the frigging paint off the wheel arch earlier my bosses son was washing my car in work and i took over to do the arches but didnt realise that he had the temperature up high on the steamer and i caught the arch, took the paint straight off... im gutted, another thing to add to the bloody list!!

on a good note my mate put an aerial base on it earlier off his spare corsa aswel, so looks a bit neater now and radio works a bit.

yeah i cant hang about with it. i need to catch up with all the lil faults/niggles and stay on top of it all.

me and my mate with the black zs been having a lil play recently. 3 up in mine the other day and he was on his own and couldnt get past but last nite we was both on our own and we was the same. but mine was running flat so gota sort that lambda out.

but its around the same speed as a zs at the mo, underpowered thou.

hopefully gona pop down to a VAG specialist tommorow and order some door stays and go to eurocarparts and get a lamp levelling unit and lambda sensor while i got a day off.
i duno whether to lower it yet or not.

well ive been to the moon and back 2day.

been quoted this and that 4 a lambda sensor then been told that i was quoted the wrong 1! I been round all the motor factors

anyway i ended up in seat in cardiff! where a lad got me a list of prices for the parts i needed and then pointed me towards and VAG trade parts specialist (TPS) down cardiff docks, where i had already been to eurocarparts twice!!

anyway luckily im in the trade picked up.

An electric window switch
Check rod and pin for the door.

ive also got the lambda sensor and another check rod 4 the other door ordered up! should be having them delivered to my works on wednesday.

best thing is everything cost me around £130 quid! a bloody lambda sensor was £120 in some places!

and they are proper VAG parts!

also got a quote from my mates bodyshop to do both the rear arches, as one has a small dent in it and the other had a little bit of rust and i took the paint off it. £150 to do both. and £50 to have it all mopped!

anyway the other parts were delivered to work 2day.

so ive now fitted the 2 new door check straps and the lambda sensor.

so the doors shut lovely now with no clunks and it hasnt been flat yet. seems to pull much better.

well its still flatspotting now and agen!

but on a good note its now lowered. although it doesnt look any different but is a ll bit stiffer and handles a lot better!

mite need to settle in yet thou.

also found out its camber adjustable as when we fitted the front shocks back on and dropped it on the floor we had mega negative camber!!
