Ok its been a long long time since i updated this so i thought i would give a little update as to what has happened to her in the last two months.
Dont know where to start now.lol
Right start on the engine side, the engine was looking a little...erm tacky as it was orange and the inlet was black, a scabby dull black and the engine was missing covers so i got under way in tidying it up a little.
Rocker cover, engine mount cover, Spark plug cover and inlet where all given a fresh coat of Ford Panther black...so they have a lovely little metallic flake in the sun. The Rocker cover is not perfect as you will notice a dip in the paint on the front but its a damn sight better than it was:
Before

after

The two bolts are only temporary to hold the cover down.
On the mechanical side you may have noticed the new magnacor leads...courtesy of Dellboy as he got them as a present for me

problem with them is that they are so chunky in comparison to the old ones the cover doesn't fit property over them...hence the two tacky looking bolts.
Also had a little problem on the engine mounts...the gearbox mount and rear dog bone mount broke so both have been replaced with brand new ones

Also while i was at it i found that the metal rod holding the ARB in place had snapped so both sides have been replaced with brand new bushes and new track rod ends making her lovely and tight in corners now...she loves a bit of three wheeling to now
Also i have finally sorted my exhaust after it snapped by the centre box...i have a brand new exhaust now

Its a devil exhaust with decat and spits lots of flames

I have also resprayed the wheels Nissan gold...it is exactly the same colour match however more metallic which i think sets them of nicely.
Overall i haven't changed a lot however i don't want to, i just wanted to freshen her up!
She did go for a rolling road however due to gearbox mount snapping she was twisting on the rollers resulting in the power run being stopped at 5000rpm and i had another 2500rpm to go before the limiter. But to give an idea on power my friends clio pulled 150.3bhp at 7500rpm which was 114bhp at the wheels...at 5000rpm my clio pulled 117bhp. The guy did say that was down to as only one wheel was actually flat on the rollers :S so until she goes back we suspect around 165 - 170bhp

and the cars is only 960kg to start so im told.lol
i will post more pictures up later of the bits changed and sprayed as only have my phone pictures on me. But here are a few more random shots taken

my brothers nissan

a random chunky arch shot...you can just about see the fresher looking wheel to.lol

a random night shot - yes she is dirty

in the below shot you can see the front wheels sprayed and not the back (the tyres have been changed so the spray on the tyre is not their any more

)

can also see devil exhaust in this

a random one on the ramps

Grill missing from the shot below as it broke so is now fitted with a phase one grill

I know my update is all over the place so sorry about that just thought id provide some form of update
