Actually i remember now... it was a link on fiestaguides... to passionford... and it wasn't a guide... it was a picture haha. But basically i think he cut a bit out of the headlining or something. The wiring is the same so that's one easier step lol.

Well.. i think i might have to make another guide soon then xD Once i have had a trip up the scrappy - there are tonnes of mk4's (Because they were rubbish :P) if i can't find a ghia one i will just use a normal one as it's the same size and will still help the guide.
I remember now i need to do more pics for my rear headrest guide... must do that tomorrow!

i think i wont bother with the ghia as i have no need foe a sensor really as mine has no central locking :doh:

I am having problems fitting my ghia light :/
I have cut off a lot of plastic, huge hole in the headliner, big hole in the metal work and even flattened the top of the light (Where the curved metal bit is.)
And yet it still doesn't fit :(
Also when i was trying to squeeze it in something sparked and now the light is constanly on when in the 'door open' position :(

As i am stuck with the wires just hanging down and i can't put the old one back up as the hole is too big and there is a hole in the headlining.

I wish, but the edges are too far away from the lining, there is like 1/2 inch gap. or do i need to pull the lining down quite far?

when i did mine it lined up quite nicely, the way the plastic bends matched the slope of the lining, but i still had to cut all the plastic away from inside the light and loads of metal from in the roof!!

Haha, nah got it fitted now. It was the wire that was in the way so i fed it from behind under the headlining instead and now it fits even thought it's clipped
Needs to be a bit closer though, i'll sort that out somehow, either way i'm pleased
