as most of you know i was goin to buy a xr2i last week but on closer inspection in turned out to be a complete dog so i decided against it.

insted i went out and bought a nice looking 1.8 diesel. had a good look over it seemed very very clean. started her up and i noticed a slight missfire si straight away i just cleaned the injectors out and that solved the probem.

great she's running like a dream right?? wrong i got about 7 miles from where i bought it to find that the head gasket was ducked
an nows shes on ebay.

thats a really nice looking car, it seems like alot of effort for a diesel, what are the 1.8 diesel engines like? I always imagine them to be suggish and noisey
