for anyone thinking of a volvo estate...a good spec'd one is a nice car..for not alot of money if you look at 850s..but if you get a 5 pot turbo, even the light pressure (low boost basically) dont be expecting decent MPG when tootling about. 25 ish...and that will drop when you boot it about a bit and some of the smaller engines are underpowered in such a big car...an astra isnt too bad if you only have the one baby...2 and you might need something with a shade more room in. some mates have kids..and the mondeo tdci is a good weapon of choice sensible mpg and lots of room.

thankfully i dont have a need for child room and shit like that..i just like big cars
