this has been a long coming problem as a couple of weeks ago my car started idling funny kind of bounce between 500-1000rpm now all of a sudden there is a horrid egg smell coming from it and masive loss in power it idles now bang on 1000rpm since it started smelling :S. i had the cat changed about 3 months ago and it run fine for ages just over say the past month and a half it has developed the idle problem and now the smell that is so bad i cant drive the car witch i need for work so anyy help at all would be a big help

have you got a tossed lambda probe causing it to run rich an funk the cat?..had it before where a car wouldnt run with a funked cat....have you got the old one?...smash the guts out and slap it on and see if that cures it
