Get some BBQ paint from B&Q! I think its plasticote, Its more satin that what you have used and should stand the heat! My rocker cover is fine with it.

New wheels look much better but i think its a bit high at the back? Skirts & Arches would make it all work together a bit more as well i think!

update, more cleaning of the engine, want it like new.

thanks for the comments guys, did all the work myself. want the engine to look as tidy as possible for when it goes in, saves me doing it afterwards. might be popping to get the new gaskets(headset, sump, thermostat???) tomorrow on my WALK(god it's killing me) to work.
then it's just a case of fitting them, not changing head gasket. in 2 minds wether to do cambelt though, it looks fairly new, writing still on it and next to no movement in it. will check tensioners etc on water pump, fit my spare 1.6 pump, and a gasket, fit oil pump, or maybe just put cvh filter on it(dont know yet)

slow down your doing it quicker than me! :frown:

im almost done too now though! whats with the dipstick comming up the middle though, they are usually on the left hand side! did you have much trouble getting it in? mine was being a pain untill i jacked the gearbox so it sat at an angle and i took the alternator and a few pullys off! i need an exhaust and then all the fluids and i can start it up!
