** Update **
after speaking too alex,we both agree i'll have too take my downpipe off as i'm finding it hard too find somewhere that'll do a drive in drive out service
unsure on a date when it'll be coming off as of yet
baz and i got stuck in traffic on the a27 on friday night while heading too a meet, i noticed my temp guage was rising towards the red
was on the "N" for normal which is the highest its ever been!! so we pulled over stopped for a bit, let her cool down and for traffic too start moving again
we made it too and from the meet ok, we ended up taking the a24 home due too my many wrong turns when we left the pub
i went too alex's on sunday to help put his cossie back together, but we ended up taking more off than we/he put on
alex kindly helped me have a look into why my fans hadn't cut in
, i checked the fuse on my new fan loom and that was fine, so we took the fan's off, sat on his drive and wired each fan to the seperate relay, like it meant to be done, we had both going to 1 relay as it was getting dark when it was first done
so both were re-wired and the trouble shooting begun, alex found it was one of the connectors that were used had come loose, so that was fixed and now both fans work off the 2 relays
had a little play with a black corsa c, i think it was anyways, which after speaking too baz about it, he think it was a tweaked 1.8 jobby, i was 5 up and this little corsa was pretty quick, took me till the change into 4th to start reeling him in
my excuse was.... excess weight(passengers extra 20-30 stone + :pmsl: ) and it was wet so i was backing off due too traction issues
i shall have my revenge........
