There's a squealing sound from inside the car when i turn left. I don't have to reach full lock to get the squeal. It's only when the car is moving. The squeal kind of cycle's (If that makes any sense) and gets faster the faster the car is moving. I only really notice it when parking. There's no sound turning right. I thought one of the tyres is rubbing against something, I've had a look underneath and i can't spot anything obvious.
Anyone got any ideas, cheers
BTW it's a 1996, I believe it's mark 4 (The bubbly shape) and it does have power steering
Quick one aswell. What does SI actually stand for? I thought it was sport injection. But i've heard lots of different answers.
One more thing, is there anyway to adjust the fuel gauge? I've just found out the fiesta has a 42L fuel tank. But a couple of weeks ago i was taking a big trip and (according to the fuel gauge) damn near ran out of petrol. I'd been in the red for about 20 miles and couldn't find a bloody petrol station. Anyway, i filled it right up and only managed to stick 32 litres in it. So i can only assume my gauge is out a bit....
