Ive just bought mine in bits as and when i could afford them and when they came up, ive had to keep it off the road though and buy the corsa to get about in, I think it will be easier for you though as you have people around you that can help more where as im a 1 man band here, lol.

Fitting the engine itself was straight forward, drop the 1.4 out,and the rs lump straight in, bolts up exactly the same, its just getting your head around stuff like the plumbing thats a tad confusing but i think its just because ive never really done much mechanics wise before let alone on a turbo lump!!

Some nice pics outside work after a bit of a wash. although 1 of the lads decided it would be funny to put grease under my door handles lol, looking fairly clean thou.




anyway moving on, i finally fitted my other bits:
ST24 brakes with goodridge braided hoses
Avo coilovers with flo-flex poly top mounts
and my Sparco strut brace are now on!!

managed to finish painting my rst inlet 2nite aswel.

ok so i got the tracking done!

im planning on buying more toys after xmas!!

sadly thou, xmas eve the drivers side brake caliper decided to come loose and hang off the car! leaving me stranded half past ten at nite on my own, freezing cold!

i managed to push the caliper back into place, then drive home without using the brakes at all!

so now its off the road until i can get a caliper carrier bolt 4 it!! anyone know where i can get 1 from?

everythings frying my head at the mo!!

i need mk4 stubs, but if i use the mk4 drums, which i can get off a scrap fez in work, i need to change the handbrake cables to mk4 1s.

i need to find out if i can use my drums with mk4 stubs.

im supposed to be buying a few things aswel which i need to go and collect and ive also now found out that my rs2k wheels may not fit over my v6 brakes!

even more stressed now!

just found that my poly top mounts have play in them already after being on 4 about a month!!!!

and the front bushes on my bottom arms have slight play in em!!

i cant believe it!

all i want is an awesome car but nothing goes right!
