got me some induction today:



£85 from demon tweeks, money off because the dude at the counter owns a st.

dont normally rate demon tweeks but as its nearby i thought why not?


added some cold feeds in a way only i know how (attached to various pipes with ties lol)


a cold feed either side near the corner of the bumper, you cant even see it. which is what i want.


just needs a clean, found some leaves and a snail amongst my HT leads. the instructions say to put the airbox back but i think thats pointless.

makes a nice roar!

changed the oil after 2 months ownership. it seemed to be running on empty, put a litre in last week and it did bugger all. moved a tad on the dipstick

got a bit worried, no smoke so i thought the oil must somewhere?

so i looked in the manual it says 4.3 with filter to be full.

changed the filter. flushed. changed the oil.

used a measuring jug to put 4.30 litres in.

yet.....


my dipstick still reads 1/3 up from min? wtf?????????

yes, i was flat with a warm engine that had been left for 15 mins for the oil to drain into the sump

adam/adrian did you get this issue? cant get an answer on fiesta st site.

mine used a litre in the first1500 miles as it was new, but nothing after that........

My engines usually take a bit more than ford say to get them up to max on the dipstick, just top it up until it is on the max mate

I didn't have any issues, my car was good, and cause it was on warranty, if i had any issues then i took it to ford and told them to sort it

After the engine has had new oil it may spread around and then there is less in sump and may need top up but if it goes down all the time i'd do as others say and take it in

its been a while.

Im waiting for a new double din headunit but in the meantime i cut the dash and fitted this:



looks better in the flesh/when fingerprint free, need to dremel those four edges mind. the storage part is from a mk3 fez as the autoleads one looked really awful.

at least now i can have my ipod in the car or play mp3 cds

thought i'd show a pic of my phase 1 dials, they light up with a red glow at night from the needles, the light reflects around, looks really nice compared to the blandness of them by day:




Anyway, today me, my mate dan and his brother went on one of our road trips to seek welsh twisties. however it was crap roads due to the snow.



however we did find a frozen resevoir which one of us was foolish enough to stand on:







anyway we then went to the horseshoe pass which is epic in the summer on a quiet day, high up with some serious b-road fun.


empty, which us not normal. A man killed himself and his 2 toddlers right were my car is parked


nice view complete with dirty car.


everyone should come and drive these roads they are cool as.

payday today.

meant to be saving for the wedding but i got a new toy:









oh yes.

has all the gubbins i want:

rear usb with full ipod control - ipod in glovebox and no wires on show.
blutooth handsfree with microphone for a-pillar
blutooth music streaming.

halfords wanted £454 for this pioneer, a quick look at ebay and dynamic sounds have sold me one for £239

that £200+ less. halfords is shocking.
