cossie brake setup. no drilling spacing calliper only.

distance to shorten arm is correct. but you cannot use the fiesta cylinder on the escort servo. you have to swap the whole lot complete and adjust the plumbing on your car to suit.

that guides not entirely correct. it will depend mainly on the internal clearance of your wheels some will offer more than others.as mentioned it will also depend on the profile of your caliper and the offset of the disc and caliper width. its a good starting guide, but its not entirely acurate. i seem to remember my 16" compomotives having an internal clearance of 390mm. and the 325mm disc kit hi spec sells requires 378mm or 189mm from the centre of the hub. and many of the 4 pot kits will let you put a 285mm disc behind a 15inch wheel.

remember kids...measure twice, buy once :D

are the bigger brakes a must have when you get a 2litre? the originals cant be that when coz arent they the same as rs turbo ones which pushes out similar bhp as the 2litre zetec?

ofc course its not a must but highly recomended brake fade will be your best friend :) whats the point of going quicker then loosing all your speed because you have to brake early. bb (big brake) upgrade is well worth it. I did to a honda civic i had 282mm discs and twin pot legend calipers the best thing i did to it by far. id consider bigger brakes over a engine change much more fun tho i did 2ltr my fez with in a week of having it. Im half way to a bb upgrade on the fez atm just need discs got some 5.1 fluid too :)
