what they want 45 quid in labour? or is that supply the tyres aswell?....if its just labour id be going somewhere else! , youll still have to pay tyre disposal and to have them balanced but your options for breaking the bead are. slide hammer (looks like a concrete breaker) sledge and wedge although your aim will need to be good! or a press. if it gets to that point its easier to take it to a branch of monkeyfit and get them to do it. steelies arent too bad to diy..but alloys are nice and soft and easily gouged by tools.

how heavy was the vehicle you ran over it with?. and i am assuming you have changed a tubeless tyre before

removing tyres is a very difficult DIY job, firstly braking the bead but then leavering them off, picture from another forum on bead breaker but best done when no one else at home!!!

Think about it, how is £45 alot ?

To take the tyre off, fit a new tyre and then balance it ( most places charge £10 for just 1 wheel balancing ) £45 doesnt seem that much to do 4. As im pretty much sure that a tyre place wont fit another tyre without balancing it !

You didnt say that in your first post :P

Have you got a bench vice that the jaws open enough to clamp the tyre ? Thats what i used once. Then a crowbar and a block of rubber
