right then, after some mooching about I have worked out what some wires in the main engine loom connectors are.. so far i have this....

Si Loom

pin1-brown- ??
pin2-green- rev counter
pin3-brown-fuel pump relay
pin4-black-ignition switch
pin5-black/red-oxygen sensor (not needed)
pin6-red-constant live
pin7-brown-??
pin8-brown-??
pin9-blank
pin10-blank
pin11-blank
pin12-brown-??


RS Loom

1-ignition live-black
2-fuel pump relay-brown
3-rev counter-green
4-current return-brown
5-fuel injector relay-green/black
6-oil presssure-brown/green
7-B+ constant live


so from that ,, of the 12 pins on the si loom I need pins 2.3.4 and 6
leaving me with 4 brown wires which I dont know what they are!!

can anyone shed any light on these for me as someone must have a diagram of what all the wires are!!



also if anyone has any pipe work for an rst that they dont need can you drop me a pm as im missing most of the connectors/ pipes for the turbo,i/c,rad,water

cheers dude, also fit the drivers side mirror and door loom, slight problem that my central locking doesnt work now, i have a plan though and will hopefully get that sorted over my rest days!!

Do you have that extra bit of interior loom by the way mate as I need it to get the power to the mirrors!! cheers bud!!

not too sure to be honest mate, there light smoke which i think is the slightest you can have to keep them legal!!

right then, have had an hour or so on the fez today and im kind of happy with the amount of rust on the rear arch,
I thought it was really bad and would have to have a whole new arch put in but after sanding it all back its not bad enough to warrent that.
Have chased it back to where it becomes good metal and ive now only got to have a patch put in about 4 inches long then a little to make up underneath the arch,
Have slapped some sealant on for now untill i can finish it, will get some pics up later!!

christ this is driving me mad, trying to find the last few bits i need to complete the rs conversion..

first bit being this....

oil return stub for T2 turbo,the threaded part needs to come out and be replaced with a smooth T3 version.

the tiny bit of hose to link it to the pipe on the left costs nearly £50 from ford, i have managed to buy a samco version for £20, :D

once its all up and running i will give it all a good de grease and replace any shite parts for new ones!!
