ok so heres some more pics as requested. havent done much to it yet been working and also working an another project (been rebuilding my best mates new car, a ZS, which he got 4 a bargain price. ill have to get some pics up of it once its done, its been a really good project so far.) but like i sed i got a few bits cumin this weekend.

anyway....
ill let the pics do the talking.

mates 106 rallye! drool

done a few bits 2 it.

took my 4 branch off my old car. my old engine.

4got to mention i got air horns again haha

and when i had it on the ramp in work the other day theres no traces welding anywhere and its undersealed!

good old zebra seats, not really that many about so should go for a nice price if you decide to put some si wingbacks in there!!!!

Heres some pics of my new bits:

Powerflex Poly arb bushes

Avo GTZ Coilovers: rebuilt fronts with brand new rears. 4 mk3 thou.

Powerflex Poly bushes lower arms: with new ball joints

Xr2i Hubs and Shafts. (so i can fit my coilovers)

Mk6 RS2000 wheels with brand new centre caps:

And also got this, its part of the front cross member which apparently 1.6s have and 1.4s dont so hopefully this may strengthen the chassis a bit:

wheels have just gone tomy old works for powdercoating.

haha

yea cant wait mate! its all gota go on the same time thou really. apart from lower crossmember and arms. oh has your rs and si got that crossmemeber thing? mine deffo hasnt got it.

but i need my wheels to fit mondeo v6 brakes under (278mm) and the brakes have to be bolted to the hubs coz they are already drilled to 12mm. my coilys have to be fitted to the hubs coz they mk3 and because of the hubs i need the mk3 driveshafts.and i may aswel fit my front upper strut brace whilst i got the struts off.

so im gona have a busy weekend sooon. haha should be awesum ionce its all done thou.

still yet to fit my rst inlet aswel.

once ive got it handling good ill start rebuilding my 1.6 engine then.

Yea, my si and rs turbo both have that crossmember on them, they didn't fit it to the 1.4 si tho. The crossmember on the rs doesn't have those hangers on it tho like the one you have got coz they didn't have cats on them so didn't need them! :chill:

The si's crossmember is the same as yours tho! You will need to get some rubber hangers for your cat to hang off it when you fit it 8-)

ahh rite. whats it for then?

reckon it will stiffen up the chassis or sumin?

i wont need the hangers either, theres already a mount next to the gearlinkage 4 the cat. plus i havent even got 1 on there anyway.

Yea mate, its designed to stiffen up the chassis, should make a difference to the handling of your car 8-)

found out that my springs are apx. never heard of them b4 thou and cant find anything on google 4 them so it mite stand for apex.

only been on the car since april according to the reciept.
