i have done this conversion...its possible its not too bad as the escort lump is essentially the same as the fiesta..youll need both the fiesta mounts for the drivers side including the front one which mounts power steering and alternator...im not sure if the holes for the front mount are threaded in your chassis leg on the drivers side as the cvh is rear mount only on that side. youll need a 16v downpipe and cat and the exhaust system...you can use the escort inlet but its very tight for space..most people use the up and over ally one from either an early zetec escort or any mk3/3.5 16v fiesta
the brakes will fit..im pretty sure the suspesion wont...it may if you change the top mounts over on the legs..not too sure on that one.

16v engine loom just for pure ease of fitment..the only sticking point youll have is the ecu. i cant remember which ones work on that conversion..
if you dont want to run power steering but still want a front mount then youll need the front engine mount from an XR2i 16v
