put my 1.1 box on today got old one off fine was going to fit my release bearing but wouldnt go on the 1.1 box so put that back on (this is where i think ive gone wrong as im not sure it was on right and could make a differnace not sure)

fitted it all back to gether fine put everything back on starts it up and the clutch works the oppersite way round to what it should

press the clutch down for it to bite/go and with the pedal up is off if that makes sense to anyone

any help on this would be great gonna to have to take it all off again and start again but thought someone may have heard of this before and know where i have gone wrong

by the sounds of it..what ever you have done wrong will mean the box has to come off anyways...only thing i can think of is the bearing has got jammed in the pressure plate and is making it work like a pull clutch rather than a push clutch..but i wouldnt have thought that possible..have you had the clutch off...did you put the friction plate in the right way round?

Jam.
