What miles has your Si done? What colour, how long have you owned it etc?

My Si:

1.6 16v 5 Door
97,200 miles
Petrol Blue
Once had 118mph on a dark rainy night in a duel with another 16v Si.
It was a dead heat for about 3 miles untill i slowly passed him
lol aquaplaned on a bend in the duel carriageway way too silly thing to do really.
Owned it since October '04, been driving since Feb '05
Dosent use a drop of oil either

It was a dead heat for about 2 miles until i realised my car was 10 years old and really didnt wan me to nail it.

Owned it since Feb '05, been driving since May 04,
Dosent use a drop of oil either.

Mods: in-car-computer, includes: gps, mp3, dvd, games etc.
Lowered 35mm all around on o.e dampers and gmax springs.
Some dodgy alloys, with yokohama tyres, good tread.
Sub and amp, 400W, head unit 4x50W per channel.
Clear side repeaters.
Rust as standard.
Big air filter/"induction kit".
Clear rear lights.

Thats about it I think.

Cool Yeah Paul afterwards i did think that 118mph might have been a bit excessive
dont want it to go bang either so i havent done it since
Had my tyres changed recently too, i did have 3 Firestone el cheapo's and 1 Matador lmao
but i swapped them for Firestone Firehawk TZ200 and they're great
grip really well in the wet and dry...they where ?45 each tho (bear in mind im on the standard 14" alloys)

Had it up as fast as it would reading around 125mph on the clocks chasing my mates Clio 182. Doubt I could ever get it again really.
Owned it since April '04, owned it 15months, it's been on the road for around 8 of those months

had it since october last year, ran it to the rev limiter in 5th once on private test track(m18), think thats about 125ish.

an si will not do 125mph.

unless you are very much downhill, your speedo very much over reads, or you very much change the engine.

Like your wheels jdfiesta, they look really different. Why did you sell your Si Sy-orme?

mrtitty, its obvious that speedo's over read but i wouldnt say they're miles out because the book figures are 110mph for the 1.6 and they're never 100% right are they.
Anyway they'll motor along quite happily at 90mph+ which IMO is pretty impressive for a mk3, they're certainly worthy of their "Si" title.
