right im looking at building a 2l zetec with throttle bodies is te OMEX 600 ecu the best to use what the pros and cons of cheeper ones as well also will the OMEX 600 ecu be ok if i wanted to turbo as well?

yes that was what i wanted to do but with gsxr 1000 throttle bodies i want them now but i dont have the money for a ecu ...so u can? run throttle bodes on a standerd ecu then? this is going on a 1.6 first of all till i get my 2.0L

well the gsxr1000 should fit thow if i get the st170 intake at lest then wen i do get my 2L i dont rely need to but more than just the engine its self

can you not put the standerd fuel rail on first with the st170 intake after that?

the inlets are different.

just get a series 3 zetec blacktop fuel rail.

will mega squert will work well with throttle bodies plus can mega squert work with turbo?

megasquirt can work with throttle bodies and can be later re-programmed to suit a later turbo installation with the addition of a MAP sensor, ive not gone down the megasquirt route as yet but considdering it, but it is a DIY setup and programme and not always a plug and play so you need to read up on it.

Ive just been quoted near on a grand for OMEX 600 + Hand made wiring loom + Mapping.

Although worth it if youve built a half decent engine. As megasquirt mapping can ruin it if incorrect or done by people who bodge (of which I have heard one of the cheaper megasquirt people are bodges...)

ill have to get you the website he give u the ecu plus a wiering loom plus any extras u want eg larnch controll for under 400 quid
