i got a piperX filter, ashley full system with 4-2-1 manifold and decat

goes quite a bit better but like every1 will tell u they aint very tuneable.

although mine will stick with my mate pretty fast saxo vtr up to 3rd and i can stay with 1.4 16v pumas and some crap zetec s`s.

ill be puttin an Rs turbo inlet on soon ill let u know how it goes then.

get a cone filter or panel filter on it to start off with mate. the throttle response will improve greatly.

fcuk that, too much messing about with the engine mounts, far easier to throw an rst lump in it!!

Still better than sticking with the 1.4 if you want to beat the chavs in the corsas...

True, but to even get 1.6 performance you may as well get a new engine by the time your wallet is sucked dry.

its no more difficult than any other swap putting a 2.0 in a 1.4..aside from one mount which i wouldnt call an epic amount of work... the rest of the parts for the conversion come from a standard car. its just collecting the bits rather than swapping them.

My general Fiesta rule of thumb here is:-

1.0, 1.1, 1.3 -- upgrade to any engine you like
1.4 - FRST engine
1.6 (cvh) - FRST engine
1.6(zetec) - 2.0 zetec
1.8d - 1.8td it

not that it matters cause all it is, is swapping of mounts and some wiring in all cases!
