I need to give the si some love next year I think, not touched it since I got the rst! I'm thinking of doing the underneath the same as the rst, maybe one day lol!

Yea mate. As I said, probs wont be able to start till after ford fair depending how quickly I get the rst finished.

Swapped the alloys on the Van. Now running the black xr3i alloys which were on the escort van.

Scrubby dubby dubby with a van full of bits too :lolz:

I finally sorted the cold air intake, reset the ecu, realized how rusted my inside arches are, got new drop links then couldn't remove the old, and took off the fuel filter only to realize the new didn't fit..

Which leaves,
Drop links
EGR
Alloys
Spoiler
Sills
Arches
Full service
And a final mass hammerite orgy.

Then to buy a decent 2.0l

Made Â£130 selling my alloys(off the van) and suspension this evening off the Pickup :thumbsup:

The suspension will be on one of the cleanest looking J reg MK3 XR2i's I have everrrrrr seen... 29k on the clock when he bought it and its fecking spotless :chill:

On another note, I drove the van and its a dirty smelly diesel still.

cut the slats out the dash ready for a double din pioneer.

got a large waterbill through the post. so im currently without a stereo.

damned if im putting the old one back in. such a ball ache to remove the heater controls.

Then got it dirty (damn powerstation ash roads!)

I cleaned my ISCV today at work in my 1 hour lunch break :lolz:

Seems to have done the trick which is suprising as the only substance i could use to clean it with was Industrial Valve Degreaser :lolz:

, Followed by a high pressure air gun to dry.

Washed mine as well. Realised the paintwork is crap, swirled and chipped everywhere

And that the rust of the arches is beyond repair in reality. It'll last another year or two.
