Ok, While working on a building site next to me was a dog handler so we started talking.
Hes rich, very rich, dosen't see his family much due to working 24/7 practically but hey. he has money?
We got talking about cars and he told me about his Pug106.
He spent £12000 on it, like £2000 just on two subs in the boot lol.
He told me that he didn't actually know half the stuff on it and then he started telling me how he got everything down to a tee, changed all the sensors, changed the clutch, gearbox, all for racing ones, anything he could was racing, and anything that could be changed to make it better was.
Then he came out with a figure that shocked me, even for a turbo'd car.
Its a 1.6 with his own turbo put on, he said he rolling roaded it about 4 years ago, dosen't remember the BHP exactly but it was somewhere around 800-900BHP

I don't know whether to believe that.. and if its true I think i'll be spending £12000 on my fez!

(he did say that he was getting parts at trade price from his uncle of whatever and a few bits were fitted by a mate for a couple quid)

cant see it myself, i would happily be proved wrong but that is huuuge figures for a 2litre turbo, let alone a 1600. would be silly with that much, pulling away would be impossible without changing the tires i would of thought.

Yeah i know he says he uses it as a runabout with his kid when hes not driving his mercedes lol
I just dont see those figures even with everything down to the sensors being changed for better ones

oh wait I remember 200-250bhp as from remapping. His friend had a computer and every modification they added they remapped the ECU so that it knew what it was controlling and didn't just think it was stock. He seemed to think shops just stuck in the ecu and mapped it to stock parts taking in none of your mods. Either way 200bhp just from telling you ecu you have x amount of modifications

Gotta be, I swear he's thick, money with no brains. Imagine 400bhp to .8 of a litre. Kinda like the RS's 550 to a litre or whatever of was I don't think £12000 would quite achieve that.
