spent yesterday collecting my new plates and fitting my B&M quickshift.

Pleased with the time it took DVLA to sort the plates out (see my private plates thread). B&M wasn't so easy to do though. I changed the linkage from the B&M to the gearbox too and had to remove the complete exhaust system and heatshields to get access to everything. Well its in but have yet to try it cause i have no radiator. Gears feel abit stiff but i might not have set the linkage correctly at the gearbox end. Cant believe how short the gear throws feel now, will take abit of time getting used to that after battling with my old one for gears. Also got headlight protectors on. Heres a few pics anyway.











Should collect my bonnet and MK3.5 Electric mirrors next week from the bodyshop. Cant believe that My bonets been away since 2nd July between 2 different bodyshops to get sprayed and i still dont have it Collect the new radiator on Monday. In the process of ordering a full front and rear powerflex polybushes. Then i need to do a bit more work on the cossie splitter arms before thats off to the bodyshop.

Im jealous of your headlight protectors, been after some of them for literally years now!! Where did you get them from?

If they mysteriously go missing at the next show were both at you'll know where to look!
