iv got 2 12" infinity subs in standered 12" box's
a friend has told me if i make my own box with the correct dimentions and a decent vent it will pound even harder i was wondring if anyone could help me out
also im running 3 amp's
350w
1000w
and 1200w
what power cap should i use to save my crying alternator??

Your power cap will do beans, sorry. You need to give the technical data of the subs to someone who knows what they're doing. It's about matching the sound wave with the length of the box and the resonant frequency. . It's not an easy thing to just work out. Plus you'd need a box the size of the boot :doh:

try getting hold of infinity on the web and they ul give you the correct specs for the box as most 12" subs from different company's have different dimensions and do you have the correct sub for a box or is it a open air sub for a saloon

What RMS are whose amps?

You can get cheap amps with around 100w RMS and 1200w MAX and we know which figure goes on the box.

the subs rms at 300w the amp that i am going to use to run them is a 600w rms so i think the amp should be ok, iv got someone workin on the box size but im stull not 100% that i want to commit to it if its goin to sound no better :( :(
