Hello all i'm new to the forum and not to clued up on the SI. I've owned one a few yrs back loved it but it had nothing but issues so had to sell on in the end. Now I want one again this time round a bit cleaner and better runner. I've spotted one on ebay in my area but its a 5dr. Is this just a kited up normal fiesta or do they come in a 5dr? Most i've seen are 3drs.. :?

I have been deciding between a 5 and a 3 door model also (Well....if I had the choice :doh: ) coz I currently have a 3 door and it just gets on my nerves. Just because you have to pull the seats forward to get things or people in the back.

That looks good, I would worry that they aren't showing the mileage or how much tax/MOT it has left, if it's in your area it's worth checking it out before you bid, and if it's good, see if you can offer them cash there and then and get it cheaper.

Didnt get the SI of ebay, out bid last at the last min by a tenner :rolleyes: ..Found a Cheap £300 1.4 looks in good nick. I really wanted the 1.6 but at this price it might be a mistake to let it go. Is there any major Difference between them other than engine size? Body wise they look the same so i'm thinking thats pretty much it right between the SI 1.6 and SI 1.4..

LOL thats one of the main things i loved about the si..How cheap do they normaly go for to buy on there own? I've just looked on ebay cant find any..The gull wing seats that is..

I drove a 1.4 for about 8 months. Loved it but past 75 it was very sluggish, get a 1.6 and they fly all the way up to 100. And generally run faster, there alot more fun :)
