Well as some of you know i went to look at a MK6 RS2000 4x4 the other day...
I was told it had been sat for 3 Years and had only 1 previous owner, Was totally bog standard and he just wanted rid of it. As it was local to me so i decided to go and have a look..

Visually could see the bonnet was faded, needed new passenger side wheel arch, new front screen and just a bit of TLC to be honest.... So i went away did a bit more research and looked again the next day with a new battery :)

Moment of truth will she start after 3 years on the drive....??? YES on the button... sounded sweet as a nut, no smoke or anything.. so after discussing finances it was brought for..........

£175

So here are a few pics of it before a clean....

Baragin price for an RS mate if your prepared to put abit of time, effort and money into it. As Meilack said, get the arches and the bonnet done. Proper state you got it in though, there like plants growing on the boot  comes up well with a clean though. good luck with the project mate

Ooooo I love seeing stuff like this :D Great work!

It looks fairly tidy apart from the arch and the bonnet looks like it'll come up fine with a bit more polish.
What's the mileage on it?

get a new front numberplate and loose the rust and it will be looking much better. Why didnt the bloke give it a wash himself and sell it on for abit more, look how nice it is after you gave it a clean.

Looks nice....

Personally I wouldnt bother spending anything on it until getting the rusty panels cut out welded up and painted.. but fair play :)

Be interesting to see the overall cost of getting this mint compared to buying a brand spanker!

Looking good so far.

Looking good mate. Glad to hear you've got some new plates, they're the only real thing pulling it down other than the rust.

Will look mint when all sorted 8-)
