I've just bought a new Nissens radiator to replace my leaking ford one, but have noticed a difference between them. Apart from the nissens one not having a drain plug which will be annoying when emptying it next, the ford one has some sort of heat\temp sensor in it the the new nissens one doesnt. Whats the green sensor and what happens if i run the new one with it not plugged in ?

Id go with that being the fan switch too.

Take it baack and complain that its not a direct replacement

I've took it back now. The place i got it from have been on the phone to nissens and between them think they have the correct one, with the hole, for the fan switch sensor which should arrive tomorrow. Still doesnt have a drain plug though. Maybe i should of just got a ford one, as they were £95, and the Nissens £70 and saved all the hassle.
