Make a change to see one without the RS/XR skirts and arches!

I hope your planning to strip the interior out!

looks good, i was going the ZX9R motorbike carb route but just sold them to stick with throttle bodies and injection due to problems with emissions with carbs and needing to refit the CAT for MoT's, what manifold and ignition system are you going for? i made a manifold from a precut manifold blank.

thanks for the comments guys was thinking about obx manifold for some low down torque because the track is really tight also for the autotests due to the fact your mainly in 1st and 2nd gear but not sure heard stories about ports not lining up and cracking so not sure yet there is also the ashley manifold but these give a bit more top end.as for the carbs got these for nothing of my mate they are on a vauxhall red top manifold but il cut the mounting plate off and use an inlet manifold gasket as a template for the new one

just doin tarmac autotests and test nights looked into the sprints but too much money for not a lot of track time (£65 for about 8 laps) the autotests cost £20 for 9 laps which includes the full track including the rally roads and paddock and a test night is the same roughly 9 laps of wherever you want to drive for £10.at the last autotest i was doin 1.18 including rally road through the middle and few handbrakes etc through paddock but reckon on the outer circuit it would be 45secs -1min roughly but not sure il time it next test night an see.are you a member of east ayrshire car club dalsy what time you do round kaimes

My membership has expired, but i plan to jion again. the club I help run, The West of Scotland RSOC had there regional day there the past 2 years , and I enjoy the wee circuit, very good laugh, and good for spectators too. and I get on very well with some of the EACC committee, and we have built up a good relationship now between the 2 clubs

My best time round Kames for 3 laps on the tarmac , going clockwise was 96.58 secs,

You going to Knockhill this coming Sunday, Speed Sunday is on, and 7 of our lads are booked on track, should be a good day, also its part of the Fast and Modified Show, so hoping to spank some jap stuff round the circuit

Where you at kames for our day, did you enjoy it, I organised the whole event

Johns Supercharged Fiesta is a wee tool of a thing, I domne all the fabrication of the barckets , shaft etc.... for the drive for the charger. We have just ammended the layout of the charger, and beefed up the brackets to help reliabilty, but it goes well

Next year we will be at Kames again, you can book some track time, and you can see if you can beat my time :insanity: :insanity: 8-)

yeah i was there missed last year but was there the year before always good to see some quality non jap stuff out on track.was it hard to make the stuff for the charger looked fairly straight forward but top marks for thinking outside the box you should put together a kit an make yourself some cash il take the first one of your hands ;)

just up the road from you, I stay just outside Wishaw

cant remember the make of the manifold, but its OK, Think the Ashley ones are a bit poor, as they tend to crack if you heat wrap them , from my own personal experience.A good exhaust manifold would be the ST170 one, and have the bend modified to suit the Fiesta, although on Johns car we modified the crossmember to suit the manifold and fitted a flexi pipe in place of the CAT, to mate up with the scorpion exhaust and it works bang on
