Got both bonnets back today. Dropped the FRST one off at a local bodyshop that seems to do many modded cars and put my original one back on for fordfair. Just dissapointed that it wont have the FRST bonnet on for Fordfair.

hah mines gunna luk like a nail for ford fair with the new unpainted wings on and a matt gteen rs bonnet..tempted to put my standard bonnet on tho

I've calmed down now, just pisses me off with the poor level of customer service we seem to get in this country (dont get me started on virgin media). I wish i could do every single job myself, its the only way i feel it gets done and done properly.

Managed to get a chrome\mirror jack & brace. Been after one for ages and there bloody hard to find, got this from Birmingham via ebay

he has taken the pics down tho now and i wanted to look at it again to compare to yours and check to make sure the pin through the middle was chrome too!!

Started work today on the Si cossie splitter, what a mess its in

Started by cleaning it down and putting some filler primer on which showed me all the hairline cracks in it





Got the things i needed to patch it up.


Reinforced it from the inside with fibreglass where the cracks go all the way through it


Then put some expanding foam filler inside to strenghen it


Started filling the outside cracks, chips and hairline cracks.


Tomorrow i'll sand everything flat, more filling if required, then a couple of jet black ground coats, then off to the bodyshop for spraying.
