yes i was trying to say while we wer therer i was saying "av these av that" and you was going"i aint got much money" and i was saying "dont worry bout money just av it",,but you didnt catch on never mind ,,your alway welcome to come shopping again lol,the only problem is you need more time as you already know the more you look the more you find which makes you look more so the more you find,which makes you look for more then you find summat else which makes look for more so you find more then you look a again for wat you was looking for in the first place next thing you know you not found anything and you been in the place for four hours,and didnt find wat you was looking for in the first place,,ive spent a whole 6 weeks sorting the timing belts,and still got a mounting of boxes unopen

anyway the car looks good you sorted a flange i see,,to get the rams horn manifold,, i found the flange i started making for mine the other day you can have it at ford fair as it no good to me it all bolts up is made from 10mm mild steel just needs the big hole in the middle putting in

wat colour or wat have you done now,,please tell me its not pink or summat

update:

Well i thought seeing as i changed a bit i will give an update! Some people know ive had this damn annoying problem of over 60mph my steering vibrates horribly. ive done tracking, rebalanced wheels, changed all bushes to polybushes and still cant find the cure...turned out after advise from a friend and looking through service history as its full the drivers side ball joint had never been changed in the life of the car

so bought to brand new ones for the bargain price of £6 each and fitted them last night...problem has gone away (you have no idea how much this has fried my head.lol)



heres a pic of the drivers side one i took off, the passenger side was fine but thought id renew it anyway.lol

You cant really tell a lot from the picture how bad it is but there is no grease it has all dried up there's no force when trying to push it around just falls to diffrent angles and the worst part is it moves up and down about 4mm any more driving on the the ball would have ripped out at any point im 100% sure of that.

and as said earlier the engine colour has changed again, metallic black hammered affect which i really like! in total i put on a new coil pack, spark plugs, leads, lamba sensor, throttle position sensor, then clean up a few bits and sensors like maf.

I have colour coded with the hammered affect rocker cover, coil pack holder, strut tops, MAF housing, gearbox cradle, tie bar mounts, brake servo bar, water pipe across the front of the engine, the main engine block and wiper mech plate, clutch arm and probably a few little things i forgot.lol Also added a few more blue pipes and heated wrapped the intake and exhaust. The exhaust is wrapped right down passed the started. I've also fitted a fan which is damn tight now.





o also fitted a little breather filter

Ive also started to go over the floor on the car to make it all white so when its all finished ill get her up in the air and take photos but you can see it in this picture slightly


and just a random one for the sake of it.lol


And one final note im over the moon i didn't have any serious mishaps on the way to Ford Fair or back, only one tiny problem that came across was the exhaust back box decided to pop of its back box which i though was random but put it back on and its fine.lol

Actually yes there is! i havent been online in a while as been super busy and net problems but all sorted now.lol Well no major updates to speak of im starting work on the underside of the car now. The entire floor has been clean off and painted to protect it the floor and it looks a million times better. I have also fitted a stronger xr2 pahnrod bar which im going to make adjustable in the future but thats been cleaned off and painted up along with the rear axle and the fuel tank has been done black to protect it! Also the 1.1 mk2s never came with anti roll bars etc so ive managed to obtain one with brackets which im in the middle of fixing up and fitting shortly but they will be fitted with poly bushes as im doing the entire rear end polybushes so then the entire car has uprated bushes all around.



Also my Capri pepper pots are now white which I think looks a million times better than it did!



And the only other little thing is ive fitted xr2 clocks so I can see what speed shes doing past 110
Also with the benefit of a rev gauge as well

Oooo I nearly forgot as well! I gave the washer bottle a damn good clean inside and out using hot water, a lot of washing powder and marbles as the marbles rub the dirt off inside without damaging it.
