it was at a council owned garage by my moms house with no power supply, lighting etc so was a real hassle to load the car up with tools, drive over there and do little bits before it gets dark, now its at my house i can do everything with minimal fuss, i was out there till 1am the other morning as i didnt realise the time, lol

lol, no problem mate its all good, it was going to be over a weekend but as it fell it was best just after due to my shifts and jams other plans, it all went good tho and only had probs with about 4 stubborn bolts due to jams "special" tool, and the gear box was a pig to get on as we could of done with another jack to support it!!

not so much work on the car but i have just finished setting up a full alarm system for the garage as whilst we were doing the engine swap I had some unsavoury characters snooping around the back asking questions about the garages, all up and running now with a couple of pir's plus door contacts so should give me a little more piece of mind whilst at work!!

right then, i went and took loads of pics today, come to put them on the comp and half of them are saying "unsuported format" stupid phone...

well for what i can upload..

first off a big thank you to jam, the guy is an absolute ledgend and with out him i would still have a very big paper weight in the form of an rs engine sat on the floor of my garage!!

unfortunatly today whilst getting all the brake pipes out to change them all i came across some rust underneath the rubber rust proofing...


its only a small patch tho and will be sorted when i have the rear arches replaced

i also had a piece of pipe made up to match my magnex as the centre bit didnt quite meet the down pipe..


as you can see in the second pic i have also upgraded to an escort master cylinder so combined with the cossie calipers i should have the stopping as well as the going power.. lol

last bit of the update untill i can re take the pics tomorrow is some electric mirrors thanks to phil, just need to get my head around the wiring. lol
