just built a 2.0l zetec in a fiesta, had problems with spark but found out it was the crank angle sensor on the inside of the block behind the flywheel

got it running anyway and it's overfuelling like there's no tomorrow, anyone any ideas what may be causing, or can be causing this?

also on the thermostat, which plug is the temp sensor and which one controls the guage?

but tbh need to stop the fueling problem first? do any pins need to be changed in the ecu or anything?

are you running matching ECU and injectors? or just wondered if you got problems with temp gauge think the engine temp sensor may enrich the mixture as a cold start as you would with a old fashion choke

cheers mate, got the 2.0 ecu and injectors on,

it was slightly spitting so fitted new air filter and 2.0 maf sensor and stopped that but was still overfuelling and i carnt afford to do 60 mile to half a tank lol, so tried an 1800 ecu, wouldn;t start on that, but put me 1.6 ecu back on and runs fine , feels as quick as em old one on a 2.0 ecu,

going to try and find another 2.0 ecu and see how that one runs it

Change your MAP/MAPT sensor, or your 1st O2 sensor may be on the blink.
