Went to 2 shell different shell garages today and they had no V power

What a waste of my time, apparantly they've had none for a week!!!

95 gone back into it as i couldnt find anything else and i was running out, apparantly esso top notch is meant to be pretty much exactly the same, but the shell guy may have been bullsh*ting me?!

We need some blue petrol, just use a bit with every tank full. Wonder what would happen if you filled up with the stuff?

But if you was to mix some in with normal petrol it would bring the octane up.

Diliuted it could be good without damaging things.

I'm guessing my 1.4 wouldn't get much out of it.

Someone work this out.

I filled up. Had done 923 miles. It went around the clock to 131. So that's 208 miles
I went back to the pump. Filled it up. 31 litres. So how many mpg did I get with that full tank?
I dunno the conversion but I think it's 4? Which would mean 25mpg

31 divided by 4.546 = 6.8191819

208 divided by above = 30.5


I got 35mpg out of my latest 3.0 V6 the other day, with a mix of city/ b-road and swift motorway driving
