essex police are very strict on mods esp number plates, bonnet raisers are not illegal was it traffic cops? interceptors ? or normal old bill that pulled you?

i asked our traffic officer last night and he said there aint no law about bonnet raisers themselves but its just all the lines are supposed to be flush and it causes sharp edges at the back so is a slight danger,
the guy who pulled you was just being a cock!!

have to admit the " your bonnet is open " does drive me nuts lol, but personal opinion i do quite like them on the right cars though, oo stunning nice one cheers mate

I had bonnet raisers for 6 weeks and nobody said a word to me about my bonnet being open... people must have has brains and realised it opens the other way

i left my car down a mates road while went to the shops, my parents got a phone call (car is in her name) and they said 'we have seen your cars bonnet is open and rear window smashed' 'has it been stolen and dumped' haha idiots.

as for the window, some w**ker drove past and catpulted something at it

GOOD NEWS been crawley police station weekend spoke to them i showed them the number plate i had they said the officer had a right for pulling me over with it ( fair enough ) but i checked with bonnet raisers and sunstrip the sunstripe they said the police dont really have any right to give you a warning agaist it or something thy cant tell you off about it as its to smaller thing i asked about the bonnet raisers nd the officer just laughed said dont worry there not illegal at all and also told me to pay my fine and dont worry about court he checked it all for me nothing came up just the fact i had a fine so its all good he said i need to change plate so ill be doing that lol
