today i looked at the xr2i covered up and sorn'd. then promptly ignored it. :lol:

I washed/hoovered the zetec, looking outside now looks like rain. so that was a waste.

also im wondering how the sub frames on the seats of a 58 plate car can start to rust??????. :doh:

jesus. its 2009. it shouldnt happen.

I drove it for the first time in about a week :lolz:

It's running like a bag of turd at the moment. Apparently it's due its two-year service. :doh:

Might consider a once over on it at some point in the future.

It's filthy at the moment. Anyone that comes and cleans it can borrow it for the day! :teehheee:

Finally changed the radiator on the Cavalier.

I won't be walking straight for a week!!! I hate spending money on that car

well have to say i didnt do them myself, took them to a place over Bilston, and they cut and rejoined around the rear opener :doh:

, when it all dries if i dont like it iam taking it back. Looks like they tried to remove the handles as when i was driving back they weren't flush to the seal so had to sort that out myself when i got home. Even took off all the C pillars to make it easier for them and they still balls it up. i'll post a pic in my members update

hmmm, im thinking of taking mine back out and having them tinted, think of all the cars though that have rear openers, they must have a way of tinting with out removing them

Today i have filled the engine mounts with a type of silicone a bit like silkaflex for bonding windows. i done this to my civic difference is awesome when its power on then off maybe back on again there is no "engine rock" no delay of power taken away from the movement. Its kind of hard to explain. I had a little vibration at idle in the civic so we will see on the fez.

I also sorted out the dash lights flickering on and off sometimes off constantly off was just a dodgy wire job taken a live feed from the center heater controls wire ramed in the end of the bulb holder :doh:

solderd 1 of the wires going into the maf sensor plug it broke off at the plug so had to take the pin out ect it was the black wire didnt make any difference to the running of the car.

Is it wise putting sealant in the mounts??...

Anyways today I dropped the engine out the pickup... basically there was nothing holding the gearbox to the gearbox cradle :lolz:

Today i tried again to mend the awful spray job i did trying to cover up all the dents and crap on my doors/rear panels,
And no its even worse!after half a bottle of tcut alot of wet sand paper and elbow grease, things just aren't looking my way.
Probably just needs a wholeee new spray job now. Woop :thumbsup:

went for a drive and ended up smacking a badger that ran out of a bush

tried to react but couldnt stop in time.

would also like to say the rspca are terrible! they wanted all my details before they would even hear what injured animal was lying helpless in the road. then they said to just leave it and drive home
