also the ST's eat tyres, and cheaper ones might be the way forward until work sort out payrises.....

anyone heard any horror stories on kumhos or nexens?

Dang. You know you dropped too much on a car when you're slapping budget rubber on there. I had Nexens on my Si and they struggled to tame the 90bhp from that hog. Get some Eagle F1s. Cheap but decent.

if it comes to it, my mate on here Stu_si works for a garage but in an audi dealer and he has 2 runners with 4mm on, pirellis i think

Actually thinking about it I had Kumhos too. They blew too. Had them on the 2i I think. Rock the part worns. Better than budget for now.
