Someone said today that if you jack up by your wheels and apply heat to your suspension it will lower it. As long as you get it right one all the sides it's a cheaper way rather than buying lowering springs.. He said his mate has done it but pfft? I dunno dosent sound right to me.

never heard of it but im guessing it does work as the sring would compress under the heat and and if left in same would stay there

the cheapest way is just to cut spring if you dont want to buy some lowering spring

problem with cutting springs, they will still have the same soft movement but lower so expect loads of banging in the arches.

heating springs does work its big in the states with hotrods,
cutting springs, gives u the harshest ride ever! mite as just weld the suspension up, thats how bad it is, iv had cars with cut springs not nice.

your best off just buying lowering springs, yes cost but well worth it!

if you want a lowered car just buy lowering springs

robs old xr3i cabby had 3 coils cut out of the springs to get it on the deck, it handled like shit and bounced up and down whilst going along
