Got good news for you fella, you made a wise choice picking a cossie rather than a scooby.

The valves for mine come in at £48-65 each, and £114 for a set of head gaskets, I thought you had it bad :cry:

ouch!

i have seen a gen ford group A headgasket and rocker cover gasket set with head bolts on ebay for £175!

cant you source a new head? must be easier for you to souce one, unlike me its proving very very difficult!!!!! :cry:

you should of got a cossie :insanity: :lolz:

It was a nightmare as my heads were specific to my car but managed to get a pair for £280.

Cossie bits are going for crazy money on ebay, standard cranks are going for around £290! Any job on getting anybits for yours?

ah so you were in a similar situation to what i'm still in, bloody car parts :lolz:

yeah they do fecth silly silly money! engines alone fetch 1.5k+ :squint:

nah no luck as of yet, i'm still looking at the mo, but going on holiday next week for about 2-3 weeks so the cossie is taking the back seat, which means i have little under a month to get her running when i get back and its looking very very unlikely!

ford fair was my target :hmm:

mate someone who you can check use to know the old owner thats abc motorsport but to be honest i would go there as a last resort :rolleyes: cause there not brilliant i took my rs there and they wanted fooking shead load of money to do a couple of bits on my car that i could have done my self so there not that great money wise or how they do every thing veyr bodge jobby but may be woth a phone call if your only looking for a head :thumbsup:
